Welcome to the sandbox. This site is part of a collaborative adaptation of Samuel Beckett's The Unnamable. I guess the only constraint on posts is that the titles have to refer back to the Beckett text. You can find our working copy of the text on the site Exteriority. You can send email submissions to

If you'd like to be a team member of this blog let me know. That way you could post without the middleman.

BBC was here???
boy... you are soooooo clever!
should devise another riddle!
:)
BBC... oh yes...
and if he saw this, he would tell us we need some camping...
:)
think you should tell him...
nope...
you?
me?
contrary to what you might have read in stories, crows are not tattletales...
:)
..but particular crows have been known to leave the room for a drink of water for motivations other than thirst....
I am all for monkeys.... and what they bring...
Harlequin
dropping in here so many days later... but I'll drop a riddle for the crow here all the same:
if I told you a story,
a story about birds and beasts
about prose and poetry or how they are just the same... west kissing east...
if my wine was crushed by my own feet
sometimes I feel like it's a piano in the background... playing such soft music... velvet...
and how you play chess...
velvet too...
the picture behind the board from home... psychoanalyze that... the dories... held by just a thread...
if I told you that story what would you have said,
whose a tattletale
and Harlequin said...
"but particular crows have been known to leave the room for a drink of water [...]"
she said...
i
... said nothing
... didn't leave the room
... drank from the picture behind
me...
... listened to the feet
... breathed the velvet
... put my EYES to sleep
-- they were tattletales --
... loosened the thread
and
...WATCHED the dory
soaring
on
the calm
blue...
