(That must be how it goes, if I had a memory)

who needs a memory when there is imagination ? i
will not be coaxed into a plot *

wielding my sword of indifference i
decide i
declare
that you can do without
me...
please...
that must be how it goes i
don't ( wouldn't ) need much of an imagination if i
have (had) (a) memor(y)ies i
would have truths and lies and silences

* with thanks to Hopper's story with the brief ambition to be

ok... it's safe now... there's something between me and the sword...
;)

Harlequin this poem is so lovely...
in the sense that it is true... again in the sense thant it is not silence...
(i don't believe in lies, you know that)

think many of our memories are just imagination...
is there really a true memory...
hmmm... i doubt... they are just clues...

and time has proved that indifference and silence cut so deep... nothing can heal the wounds they cause...

just in one case silence does good... between true lovers when they want to make love...

and...
no one can do without YOU...

ah, yes...s/word(s)play
better than smithing ...at least in this instance
I also liked the shape of Hopper's semiotic swirl... and its tether to glimpse and folly...

HB--nice pick up on the silence and lies...so many intriguing unnamables swirling about...
